More movies to follow Tropic Thunder's Hollywood criticism?

In my review of Tropic Thunder, I harped on the in-movie trailers that perfectly lampooned Hollywood. Now it seems that How to Lose Fiends & Alienate People is attempting the same. It looks funny, but do we really need another trend started in Hollywood that's going to be beat to death? Next thing you know, we're going to have another movie like Tropic Thunder to criticize the fact that movies in Hollywood over-use fake trailers to criticize Hollywood. Then, even that could become trendy. Then we'd have a movie to criticize the fact that Hollywood movies are overly critical of themselves.

In any case, neither Tropic Thunder nor How to Lose Friends & Alienate People pioneered this fake trailer movement. If any of you recall Bowfinger, 'Chubby Rain' did just as good of a job at it. Even Bowfinger isn't the first to take a crack at it, though. Movies have been doing it for years. It's just the recent frequency of movies doing it which bothers me.

Below is the trailer for 'Theresa: The Making of a Saint" from How to Lose Friends & Alienate People.
